Today plan was going to visit the white house, National Museum of American History, Arlington National Cemetery and Memorial Walk.
Anyhow, after breakfast we headed out to the white house.
The white house is pretty huge - what we didn’t expect it.
Unfortunately we couldn’t take a closer look to the white house because the president Trump made clear that the house has to be with under safeness.
Next stop was the National Museum of American History. The museum at itself was pretty interesting. They have many many old original „things“ to show us.
It is so fascinating how fast the time goes by.
At least but not at least, we went straight after the National Museum of American History to the Arlington National Cemetery.
Arlington National Cemetery is a special place to visit especially for all Americans.
It has to do something with on behalf of the American people.
All Americans lay to rest those who have served our nation with dignity and honor, treating their families with respect and compassion, and connecting our guests to a rich tapestry of the cemetery's living history.
Finally as a last stop for today, we went to the Memorial Walk.
Memorial Walk means a lot for all people around the world especially for the black ones...
The Memorial Walk for Hope and Healing is an opportunity for people to gather who have lost a loved one in their lives e.g Martin Luther King JR. etc.
It really gave you the feeling that you’re appreciating everyone who fought or still fighting for their rights, goals and dreams.
At the end of the day we walked back to the hostel. So exhausting for walking today. But still, we survived :D
